Drawing inspiration from the story of Papatūānuku and Ranginui, the works consider how connection can return in new forms—through balance, mutual support, and the meeting of complementary strengths. Layered printmaking, collage, and symbolic mark-making are used to explore harmony not as sameness, but as two distinct forces existing in relationship.
This series is also personal, shaped by partnership, shared creativity, and the weaving together of different cultural understandings. In that alignment, something new can emerge.
